Cargo Concepts was established in 2012 to represent AAL shipping as its New Zealand general agent. In addition, we also began to provide multi-mode bespoke logistics solutions to suppliers to the infrastructure sector. As principal, I have more than 30 years experience in international trade and shipping, having worked across a wide range of cargo types and modes in particular in the Asia-Oceania region. With over 25 years in senior and corporate roles I have strong networks across the sector, and a comprehensive understanding of the global shipping industry.

The world of global shipping is a complex one. From an outsiders perspective, it often seems to defy logic and sound economic principles, and keeping abreast with international trends and anticipating how they may impact on your business can be difficult and time consuming. You shouldn’t always need to build deep internal shipping competencies in order to best manage your supply chain, but you cannot successfully manage what you do not understand.
